DRIVEWAY INSTALLATION
CULVERTS
Driveway culverts are used to carry water from one side of your driveway to the other and help prevent erosion and flooding. Farm culverts can be used to divert water or act as a bridge for machinery to pass over.
MAINTENANCE
Regular maintenance will keep your gravel driveway looking its best. We have the equipment to ensure proper grading, replenish gravel, find and fix low spots, and level your driveway. We can also widen your existing driveway.
DRIVEWAY RESTORATION
REMINDER
If you are constructing a new driveway, make sure you obtain the proper permit before installation. ODOT requires right-of-way permits for all work that occurs along state, federal, and interstate highways. ODOT offers online applications for Right of Way permits here. All work performed within corporation limits must be approved by the appropriate city or village. Permits for work performed along county or township right-of-way must be obtained from your County Engineer's Office.
GRAVEL DRIVEWAY TIPS
• Go slow. Driving too fast on a gravel drive can cause divots and potholes to form, which can lead to standing water problems.
• Improper drainage can cause flooding, pooling, and washing gravel away from a driveway. Adding drainage to your driveway can help ensure a long life.
• We recommend adding a new layer of gravel to the surface of your driveway every 1-2 years. We can deliver gravel directly to your home. Click here to learn more.
• Do not drive in only one location. Use the entire driveway and stagger your tire tracks.
